- Carlile James
[E] Carlile James, Scottish clergyman and
psalmody editor, was born about 1784. He
was minister of the Scottish Church, St.
Mary's Abbey, Dublin, 1814-54. He died at
Dublin, March 31, 1854. Compiler of a col-
