Clark, John

[E] Clark, John, Scottish collector and vio-
linist of the 18th century. Published "Flores
Musicse, or the Scots Musician, being a general
collection of the most celebrated Scots Tunes,
Reels, Minuets, and Marches, adapted for the
Violin, Hautboy, or German Flute, with a
Bass for the violoncello or Harpsichord."
Edinburgh, 1773.

same individual or a relative, published at
Perth " A Collection of new Strathspey reels
and country dances, with a bass for the vio-
loncello or harpsichord, dedicated to the
Musical Society of Perth," 1795.
