poser, born at Hackney, London, September
15, 1837. Studied under George Cooper. Or-
ganist of St. Michael's College, Tenbury, 1860.
Mus. Bac, Cantab., 1864. Mus. Doc, Cantuar,
1883. Organist of Beverley Minster, 1874;
Wigan Parish Church, 1875; Dorlcing Parish
Church, 1877 ; Hereford Cathedral, 1877. He
died at Hereford, Sei^temher 16, 1889.
